Building Bridges Day Program Fundraiser

Friends, Family, Colleagues,

In my role as a tax and estate planning accountant, I am passionate about the work that I do with my clients and their families - and tax-efficient philanthropic planning is one of the cornerstones that excites me.

This year, I have seen the benefits of philanthropy from a different lens.  Our family has been tremendously fortunate to directly benefit from the incredible treatment that is provided by the team at the Building Bridges Day Program at the Michael Garron Hospital.  The Program works with adolescents who are currently unable to attend community school due to mental health concerns associated with school avoidance, such as anxiety.  I am incredibly grateful that this program exists, and that we are able to benefit from it. I would not have expected to have been the direct recipient from other people’s philanthropic gifts, but I am so grateful that I now am.

I have seen the work, first hand, that the team at the Building Bridges Day Program at the Michael Garron Hospital does.  October is the time of thanksgiving in Canada.  With recognition of how much we have to be thankful for, I respectfully ask that you consider making a donation to the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation in support of this tremendous program.  October is also the month in which my birthday falls.  While I have never been a big “birthday person” for myself, it would give me such joy if you would consider making a donation in support of this Program.

With gratitude,

Ali
