Our guest speaker is Serena Hak, Head of Philanthropy and Senior Associate at CI Private Wealth. Serena will share her insights on leveraging relationships with charitable partners to deliver greater value to clients.
About Serena Hak
Serena Hak began her career in the philanthropic sector in 2009, working with youth to help them better understand the importance of social consciousness. Today, she connects with clients across Canada to help them integrate their generosity goals with their wealth management strategies.
An educator and author, Serena speaks at national events about charitable giving. She has been featured in publications such as the Globe and Mail and the National Post. She is Vice-Chair of The Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Chair of the Fundraising Committee for The African Medical and Research Foundation and a Board Member of Benefaction Foundation.
Serena attended Western University and holds the Master Financial Advisor – Philanthropy designation. She also completed The Toronto Foundation Vision Next Curriculum, working with 100 young philanthropists on the city’s most vital issues while learning from leading community experts to generate solutions.
Serena is deeply passionate about breaking down barriers and helping her clients align their wealth with their personal, family and community goals.
